The internet is becoming a source of informational uncertainty, where one or more people can be deceived by the credibility of the information transmitted by our media. In many cases, there is no way to alert anyone to this "disinformation" activity that can cause so much damage. Therefore, it is important to take into account certain aspects that help us differentiate between true news and fake news.

Ø  The author: If the news story lacks a byline, this can make us suspicious. Fake news generally tends to be anonymous and never includes the author's name.

Ø  The format: To attract attention, fake news often has a peculiar format, different from the usual, with excessively bright colors and sizes and excessive use of capital letters.

Ø   The date: This is another point to keep in mind. Current events are paramount, and online news reports carefully reflect the date and even the time. On the contrary, fake news neglects this aspect, using outdated dates or simply omitting the information altogether.
